The Maryam Ajmal Women’s College of Science and Technology (MAWCST) celebrated its 14th Foundation Day on July 16, 2026, with great fervor and pride. The day commemorated a significant milestone of fourteen years since the establishment of the college’s degree section, which was officially inaugurated on July 16, 2012. The event was a vibrant tribute to the institution’s legacy and its unwavering commitment to women’s education and social empowerment in the region.
The journey from a modest beginning with only 44 students (Arts 24 and Science 20) to its current status of nurturing over 300 students across various disciplines stands as a testament to the college’s growth and impact. The institution remains a living tribute to the late Maryam Un-Nisa Ajmal, whose vision of empowering women inspired the Ajmal brothers to establish this centre of learning.
